1. English

Hindi is an Indo-Aryan language and one of the official languages of India, with over 700 million speakers. Its origins can be traced back to the ancient Indian language of Sanskrit, which was spoken during the Vedic period (1500 BCE – 500 BCE). Over time, Sanskrit evolved into a number of different languages, including Prakrit, which was spoken during the Mauryan Empire (321 BCE – 185 BCE), and Apabhramsha, which was spoken during the medieval period (600 CE – 1200 CE).
